The price of the latest Honda NSX has been confirmed for Australia – AUD420,000 or RM1.28 million plus on-road costs, for just one specification that will be made available to the public, according to CarAdvice.
Its price positioning in Australia lands it amongst rivals such as the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 at A$428,000 (RM1.305 million), the Ferrari 488 GTB at A$469,988 (RM1.433 million), the BMW i8 at A$299,000 (RM912,339) and the Porsche 911 Turbo S at A$456,500 (RM1.39 million).
The sole specification level is packed with a high level of standard equipment, which includes the carbon-fibre exterior and interior packages. The carbon-fibre exterior package includes a carbon-fibre roof, engine cover, rear decklid spoiler, diffuser and front under spoiler, plus carbon-ceramic brake rotors, exclusive interwoven wheels and a dark chrome exhaust finisher.
Meanwhile, inside the NSX, the carbon-fibre interior package includes a carbon-fibre meter visor, upper steering wheel trim and spokes, plus a set of brushed aluminium pedals and footrest. Also included for the interior here are an Alcantara suede headliner as well as semi-aniline leather and Alcantara power-adjustable seats.
The NSX is open for booking in Australia, with customer deliveries expected to take place early next year. Available in a combination of eight exterior colours and four interior trims, the 573 hp/645 Nm, all-wheel-drive, twin-turbo hybrid supercar will be available on the continent from just five selected dealers.
We’ve sampled an early version of the NSX close to the Tokyo Motor Show – read our impressions of Honda’s hybrid supercar. Paultan.org
